Jeff’s journey began in 1997, right after graduating high school. He went straight into full-time construction work in New Jersey, spending every day learning different trades while helping build custom homes. It was there—on real job sites with real tools—that he gained his foundational skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more. Those early experiences taught Jeff what it meant to build with quality and take pride in your work.
Jeff was deeply affected by the events of September 11, 2001—he watched the planes hit the towers with his own eyes. The very next day, he walked into a Navy recruiting office and started the enlistment process. By Feb. 2002, he was in boot camp at Great Lakes, Illinois, ready to serve.
Scoring in the 95th percentile on the ASVAB, Jeff qualified for elite roles, including Navy Diver. He chose the toughest path: Naval Dive School.
